A Breakfast Treat for Cebu Readers/Guests

PHP19 for a dish of Zubuchon sisig fried rice topped with a fried egg!!! Yup, it’s a steal. Well below the cost to make it. Now available for a week or so at either Zubuchon restaurant locations in Cebu City. We would like folks to drop by to see our new breakfast menu that includes our homemade chorizos, crab omelletes, fried labtingaw or danggit, pritchon, paksiw, etc. This offer is valid for dine-in customers daily from 7am to 8:30am only, good while supplies of the sisig set aside for this promo lasts. The fried rice starts with a bit of pure homemade leaf lard. We add minced lechon sisig, rice and drippings from freshly roasted lechons. This is topped with a fried egg (I like mine a bit wet, not overcooked). Mix it all up, add some of the homemade labuyo chili oil, some pinakurat vinegar and temper the flavors to your liking. :) We often get a lot of call center employees who drop by for breakfast after their graveyard shift, and this is the perfect breakfast/dinner for them. Of course all other guests from all walks of life are welcome, so tell your friends about it. PHP19 or 45 U.S. cents!!!

You would normally need a flier (given to dine-in customers over the past few days) to avail of this offer, but just tell the staff that Marketman sent you, and the promo code is JB 007. Hahaha. Get it? They have been advised to accept that.

  1. Sounds wonderful. Now if you just used brown rice to give it some semblance of healthy eating :)

  2. I love this! Waaayyy better than the so called “breakfast meals” at the fast food restos. I like my egg not too runny but not overcooked so I can mix it with my rice. Now I’m jealous of anyone in Cebu who gets to enjoy this. :)

  3. We make this at home and call it Sisignangag! And since the sisig takes on the identity of the rice, pairing it with longganisa or daing is more than justified.

  4. I like the code! Even your initials sir can be spelled out as James Bond! :) Nakakalungkot lang at wala pang Zubuchon outlet dito sa Metro Manila. :(

  5. hi, MM… told the hubby ’bout your promo. He’s based cebu and will check it out tom. Just wish could try it myself. Btw do you sell bottles of your labuyo chili oil? am not sure if you do or if you’ve posted that in the past… in case yes, would love to try it and will tell hubby to get for me. Hope to see you in cebu one of these days…:)

  6. riza, we do actually sell little vials of labuyo chili oil, I think they are PHP80. But they have a cork top, so it might be hard to transport it in one’s luggage unless re-packed… It’s made by drying classic native kulikot or small siling labuyo, then infusing the spice into olive oil…

  7. Only for a week? Finally got our MNL-CEB-MNL tickets yesterday, and going there during the sem break, overnight only, just to try Zubuchon. Zubuchon, here we come!

  8. Hi marketman. Your blog says Market Manila so how come only the Cebuanos are having fun. LOL. I’m a Cebuana too but living in Manila. I’ve been dreaming of your Zubuchon and wondering when oh when can Manila have a Zubuchon. Hope it’s soon.

  9. Marichu is right MM. When will your fans in the metro have a chance to taste this enviable zubuchon menu?

  10. The new breakfast menu is another reason to reroute my air tickets from Leyte to Manila via Cebu. Zubuchon, you make us live to eat. More power to you MM.

  11. Holy… There’s this rice-in-a-box store near my place and workplace that sells pretty decent flavored rice variations… A junior-sized sisig rice (just about 1 cup of cooked rice) sets me back 70 pesos already… I’d wake up early (even if it’s a real pain in leg for me) just for this stuff. :P

  12. yes JB 007!!! hahahah!!! i’ll tell the staff that i am actually “M”. hahahaha. kidding aside, hope to visit cebu to finally dine at your restaurant.

  13. Sarap…I can smell the aroma emanating from my screen….( slap!!! awake now.. ) Now back to my cereal and skim milk.. :-(

  14. If only for the opportunity to say JB 007 aloud and then gorging on that treat, I’d love to teleport with Lee. Scottie, beam me up NOW!!!

  15. Oh, my! I wish I live in Cebu so I get to try all the new stuff and promos of Zubuchon. Can’t we at least buy the frozen sisig and lechon here in Manila, MM? Pleeeease.

  16. haaayyyy when will i ever get to savor all that stuff..am here in the summer capital of the P.

  17. Like you still need to promote Zubuchon ;-) But what a nice gesture- a breakfast give-away (almost).

  18. What a steal! Would love to have this offer right now,but I’ll settle for a bowl of cereal :(
I love how you run a business and having fun along the way!

    Have a nice weekend,JB 007!

  19. Hi MM,
Now, this the reason why we made it a point to eat our meals in Zubuchon wile we were in Cebu! I wished we were able to meet though, but you were not in Cebu at that time….oh well, maybe next time! The best for you MM…
