Am so bitin! I need to know what the main course and the dessert were! SInce the cocktails and the appetizers look so good!! Aside from Terry's, I also saw some jamon jabugo in Rustan's Rockwell but have not yet tried it . It was also about 700 pesos per 100grams. Belated Happy Birthday Mrs. Marketman!

Jamon Jabugo is the equivalent of beluga caviar, in my book. I had tasted this once in London and it was soooo good, I felt I was in pata negra heaven! But I realised I was on earth when I found out it was so bl...y
expensive! It was a bit easier on the wallet in Madrid, and it was worth the splurge.

Never heard of this as a paté, though. Thanks for the tip where to find jabugo in Manila. Does Terry's sell the paté as well?

fried neurons, when you are home on a visit, try terry's delicatessen, either at the basement of Podium Mall in Ortigas (called Segundo Piso) or at the Pasong Tamo branch. They sometimes carry jamon jabugo and with just 200 grams you will understand why it is so talked and written about... yes, they do have jabugo in manila once in a while... :)
