Ohhh yeah i agree!! shellfish are aren't supposed to be matched with Cheese in iTalian Cuisines. But just the smell of melted Cheese period. Overpowering somewhat the distinct smell of seafood, its like an adventure kind of. Like you are almost hesitant to try but somehow curious, and then when you finally had the taste of it, you cant stop eating it coz its simply addicting and satisfying.

I had my first taste of this when i was in Manila. its perfectly just fit my palate ohh sooo sooo Good. normally i would just eat scallops seared or wrap with pancetta. But this concotion ohhhh WOW soo GOOD!!

MM i've done this with a scallop thermidor theme, topped with breadcrumbs or crushed potato chips or cheese and chopped flat leaf parsley then broiled briefly until golden brown. hmmmm....having moved to a landlocked city, it's been so challenging to look for seafood, the quality that my family was used to when we were living in the Phils. here in Alberta its salmon, salmon and more salmon....at least the beef is good!
