Hi MM! Definitely #2 article for its pure informativeness. Although if you wanted to be fair, you could have tried out all those imported Edam's from Frico. And guess what? Marca Pina is actually made by the same company! I didn't used to like QdB as a child, but when my tastebuds became more mature I could it slices of it on its own. I think the whole Italian wave did it... don't you notice how much good edam tastes like a specific italian cheese? Yum yum. Edam turns out to be cheaper, so sometimes I cheat and use Edam for certain italian applications. Most people can't tell the difference at all!

#2 for the very detailed comparison. It's Marca Piña for my husband, Marca Pato for me and Magnolia for the kids - the younger generation don't seem to appreciate the taste of QdB. However, due to our tight budget we only get to buy one brand, Marca Piña. The Magnolia QdB, we usually get as gift as part of the Christmas goodies from our office.
