I did a post on Krispy Kreme several months back and yes, their cakey doughnuts are good and I buy them... I find the other ones just too sweet.

It brings back memories of Brooklyn....Entenmann donuts. I love their chocolate donuts dipped in milk or with coffee. I used to buy these at the Associate grocery ( not sure if it's still there )at de kalb near the Brooklyn Hospital after my medical duty. I also love Junior's cheesecake also located at De kalb.

i like your blog!!! yes, i was one of the lurkers... hehee... discovered your blog like maybe a couple of months ago...
those calorie content on each food package here in the US made me shy away from my favorite pastries. haven't had even a single doughnut for months now... i see those doughnuts at the market everytime and your post just made my mouth water. forget about the calories! i'm trying them this week...
my husband does like california donuts though. and i do think they're baked on site therefore more fresh...
