					<description>You should have CAPTCHA or some other add-on that screens for actual human commenters on your blog. Most spam comes from bots that automatically fill the usual form fields (name, email, website, comments) and hit submit. Word verification makes it more difficult for spam comments of this type to get through.</description>

this is my 13th mailbox in my years in cyberspace and so far has been 99% spam-free.

and you can add keywords to your WP blog to block common ones.  my spammers' favorite phenxxxxxxx has not made it to my comments box in several months now, to my great relief.  good luck!</description>

Spammers have found a way around that thing that send back the spam mail. What they do is they steal other people's e-mail addresses.
