Charlene Tieng, the daughter of Wilson Tieng (Solar Entertainment, Seiko Films)--she's really, really nice, unlike the manager of Living Well (which she owns as well) who's soooo haughty! This is firsthand info as I tried doing business with her--did with Gourdo's but not LW.

hello! i only went to gourdo's once & im amazed by the wide array of wonderful products they sell. a must one-stop shop for a chef, people who love to cook or those who collect kitchen stuff as a hobby. by the way, is gourdo's offering a cooking or baking class? i'm interested in learning how to cook & bake but most culinary schools are quite expensive. it would a good a idea though for Gourdo's, a store selling kitchen stuff to also offer cooking classes.

Hi Marketman, your site really IS good. Skunkeye told me about it. I love kitchen stuff so I guess I'll have to give Gourdo's another try. The stuff on the shelves looked interesting. Last time I went, big sale and not much left. Other kitchen stores seem sad (ie. Kitchen Exchange). And no one ever has those wine savers -- that gadget that pumps air out of the bottle to keep it longer. Not even Santis. Had to order from the US. Of course Bacchus might have them but I didn't think of them then.
