					<description>my mom used to make what we call peasant (dati pa yun nung mura pa ang halaan at galunggong at parehong iniisnab-isnab :) )soup, but i guess its a play on pesa because it looks like they have the same ingredients. just boil hugas bigas with sliced sibuyas and luya (others saute them in little oil. when its boiling na, throw in the cleaned clams and let boil for two minutes. turn off the fire and add malunggay or sili leaves. we dont put salt na since the clam juice is salty na, unless you put too much hugas bigas.
