Lunch or merienda in the park or people watching at the Notre Dame courtyard on a Sunday, enjoying a jambon beurre "sanweesh". However, our first time in Paris, we fell victim to one of those overpriced, mediocre restaurants where you pay extra to sit outside. At least the view of the Opera house was well worth it. Next time we went, we learned our lesson and dined where the locals dined. Excellent decision that was. (BTW, have I told you lately how much I love your blog? :)) We do the same thing!
