Great idea of Mamou. Hope other restaurants do a similar activity. It’s a good CSR .. Corporate Social Responsiility — act.

I sometimes wonder what hotels do with their left over buffet food and bread etc. It will surely feed oodles of people …

Netoy, while sonya’s is interesting in its own right, a nice farm or flower garden setting and lots of homey touches, it serves a vegetarian lunch that rarely changes and which is nice but not great. Antonio’s is not in the same league, it is several leagues above sonya’s when it comes to the food. No contest at all in my opinion, if you are searching for fine food… head to Antonio’s in Tagaytay. If you are in Manila, grab a good steak at Mamou. :)

Our family’s favorite place to eat!

My hubby & I were at their 1st anniversary last year because of you MM. They even gave us cupcake to take home. I would miss this one as I am out of the country now but will tell my in laws about it.

Marketman – this question may be totally unrelated but I just read your posting on Antonio’s Tagaytay and did a little googling about the place. One comment that I read was that Sonya’s Garden also in Tagaytay is better than Antonio’s. Have you tried Sonya’s? If so, comment please? I also live out of the country and would like to try these restaurants that you have recommended when I return next year. Thanks much.

My thoughts too Bettyq. If all restaurants will give just one day’s business to a beneficiary school feeding program, we may just wipe out malnutrition amongst children.
