shirt1

Geez, imagine my shock when I saw this trio of puffed up chests at a market with various marketmanila.com charity shirts on…. Heehee. These are actually my first sample shirts, using different t-shirt suppliers and the results of the first silk-screen. Some were rather small, hence the Johnny Bravo effect. I have decided to go just black and white (sorry Lee) as it gets complicated with the colors and it takes longer to dry, and I have contracted with a small cottage industry type supplier… At any rate, what do you think? I happen to LOVE all of them. Though I still think I might just keep the “Mayonnaise” one just for myself…

shirt5

Marketmaniac works out really well…

shirt4

This shirt benefits from Apicio’s suggestion to change “lately” to “today.”

shirt3

Lee’s original “suki” shirt is also a hit!

shirt2

The mayonnaise one is still cute, but silkscreeners screwed up the design…

shirt6

All shirts will have this on the back. And I am still working on the market tote bag in cacha.

Off to Divisoria tomorrow to buy some 350 or so shirts… I definitely think total shirts and totes will be limited to 500 pieces!

I’m sure I can have one of my cousins pick up the t-shirt(s) and tote bag(s) somewhere in Manila? Also, since it is limited to 500 pieces, will this be limited only one per “blogger?” :-) Thanks, and hope all is well, and on another note, it sounds like “the kid” had a marvelous birthday. Hope all her dreams and wishes came true and many more birthday blessings to come!

My husband and I passed the Glorietta Mall on our way back to the office from S&R. The blast JUST happened. Our office is very near Landmark. It was so disconcerting because if not for our baby’s milk that we needed to buy from S&R, my husband and I would have had lunch somewhere in Glorietta and done some grocery shopping in Landmark. God is good. I saw the pictures…it didnt look like LPG gas blast to me. The roof fell in can you imagine? The damages were quite extensive. In fact, it means no gym for us tomorrow.

Silly Lolo, there are three guys in the pic so Megamon and Belle can make bato-bato-pick for the two other non-MM macho men. LOL.

Diversionary tactics is the first thing that came to mind yesterday. Think Wag The Dog. It was good to see Fernando Zobel there though, and hear him pledge all the financial help the victims needed. Goes to show you really cant rely on the government (which has pledged nothing except “promises”).
