In an indirect way, you are in this week’s issue of TIME – the best in asia – Best Pig ever – the Philippines. And of course it was through Anthony Bourdain’s show that this title was bestowed on the lechon. Congratulations!

Hi Marketman, just want to say you did an AMAZING job touring Mr. Bourdain around. I must say a much better job than the first tour guide (chicken balls? whuut?).

I “heard” about Tony visiting you from one of your earlier posts so I was kind of watching out for this episode. Again, kudos to you and your lechon guy. We’re number one because of you! :)

He and his family were lovely to me and my crew — and the fact that they were a bit shy with cameras jammed in their faces — if anything — speaks well of them.
