Gil Carandang over at Herbana Farms, Inc. is conducting a two-day seminar on “Technological Trends in Organic Farming on May 2 to 3, 2009 at their farm in Calamba, Laguna. Gil/Herbana is a LONG-TIME SUKI and we go back some 12+ years since he first had a stall at the Greenbelt market behind United Supermarket in Makati. Seminar fee is PHP4,000 and that includes the seminar, food and an overnight accommodation. Please contact Gil Carandang at 0929-2698602 or visit their website www.herbanafarm.com for more information. I have been wanting to grow organic vegetables for years, but I am convinced I possess a black thumb and everything I touch in the garden seems to die within days! :)

You can’t have it all, MM. Your gifts are apparently in many places other than the garden. :)

Perhaps, your talent in gardening lies more on management and supervision of people who tend it, like how you prepared that area where you received AB in Cebu for lunch…
Have a meaningful Holy Week, MM, and to your family and crew too!
