Oh my Gigi! the champagne! I had them in singapore. although they give you a dry ice and insulated wrapper so it doesn’tt melt too soon, me and my bestfriend just couldn’t wait and ate the entire box in half hour. I brought home a box of bitter nama and surprisingly, they didn’t melt.

I rarely go to Wendy’s, but if I do, I always order me a regular fries and a small chocolate frosty. Fries dipped in frosty just go well together. Otherwise it’s combination ketchup and mayonnaise for dipping for me, well I like apple cider vinegar too.

As for chocolate covered chips, I think I’d rather have chocolate covered coffee beans. :)

Purplegirl is right about the Neiman Marcus chocolate covered potato chips–they are the best I’ve had. they are pretty steep but you get your money’s worth because of the quality of the product. It is also a good converstion starter at any get together.

For a gear shift in taste buds they are good with a dip of tomato ketchup and big dab of wasabi. I know it is a cryptic combination but it is delicious. The tanginess of the wasabi and the sweetness of the ketchup really spark up the flavor of potato covered chocolate chips. It is truly a West-East fusion! Not my everyday fare but I love to have it once every quarter of the year.

i’ve found that Neiman Marcus’ chocolate-covered potato chips are the best — each chip is heavily and evenly coated with Belgian chocolate then stacked high in a container (like the Pringle’s containers) which prevents the chips from sticking to each other. they’re $15 a can (steep) but when you get a thick, heavy, even coating per chip, you get your money’s worth.
