The sandwhich that bettyq. described was one of if not the top sandwich in the Oprah show. Pulled pork with the cheese and caramelized onions on sourdough bread. Sounds absolutely delicious. But if i'm lazy, i just heat it up and eat it with freshly boiled rice, hehe.

mikel, me too, and often with rice rather than noodles! EbbaMyra, that sounds good! joey, do you save the marrow too? :) Fabian, odd you should ask, but I have been consciously trying to reduce pantry, freezer and refrigerator stocks, I am now down to the lowest levels in perhaps 5 years! We have 3 refrigerator/freezers of varying sizes, humongous to small, and a walk-in pantry (small one) chock full with stuff. Artisan, a walk-in chiller is one of my lust after items. Obviously, I enjoy my food shopping... bettyq, those ideas sound delicious to me! alicia, in this case, I would almost argue the leftovers were BETTER than the original dish! Mangaranon, was the veal in a red or a white sauce? michelle h, seems we all have the logical next use for leftover stew down pat!
