Six Thousand Meals For The Kids!!! :)

birthday1

The turnout at Mamou yesterday was simply phenomenal! The proceeds of yesterday’s sales (including all staff service charges) will provide nearly 6,000 meals for undernourished public school children in Taguig! Isn’t that just sensational? Mamou regulars and marketmanila.com readers turned out in full force for Mamou’s 2nd anniversary, and the owners have generously donated all of the proceeds to public school feeding programs. Not only did we eat incredibly well last night, we even got a wonderful present at the end… Every guest was handed a now well-known little blue box with a red velvet cupcake from Sonja’s. If I am not mistaken, if you purchase a red velvet cupcake at Sonja’s, she donates part of the proceeds to the Red Cross… On behalf of the kids at the Tenement Elementary School, a huge, huge THANK YOU to the generous and caring owners, managers and staff of Mamou. And thank you as well to all you who chose to eat at Mamou yesterday! Maraming salamat sa inyong lahat!
