Melvin, try the Manila Seedling Bank on Quezon Avenue in Quezon City, they have dozens of shops with a fairly broad selection. Prices are fair for a city retail location.

If I remember right, I think a Vanda from the Philippines, similar to the blue one you have up there, won best in show in the Montreal flower expo a few years back.

Resplendent colors and truly exotic veining and markings. Any one of the plants bearing these spectacular blossoms can stop you in your tracts if you happen to come across one in full bloom in a rainforest floor. But of course they have all now vanished from their natural habitat.

Beautiful vandas….and heart warming memories of my late grandmother…she had a greenhouse and pots and pots of vandas that flower shops in the 70’s would buy from her per flower….Her love for orchids was the influence for my mom opening her flower shop….and then many years after, I opened mine too….Thank you, MM for putting a smile on my face and making me remember my dear lola….
