Almost like a Nicoise no? I have lots of smoked Tinapa from Leyte. Am going to try using your recipe with Tinapa instead of tuna :-) Thanks for sharing.

I think permex ang best locally canned tuna brand wala lang syang ad
the best yung permex na yellow fin
mahirap lang maghanap. out of stock ngayon sa landmark
stock supply is erratic dahil nagupgrade ata ng facility ang permex

Thanks for the idea MM! This would be a great salad dish for the expensive ventresca tuna. Anyone knows where one can get a hold of those here in Manila?

Joey, yes, I mostly eat Century. In fact, the they have a Choice version that for a while, they distributed to friends and family only, (also sold at Terry's) and exported the rest. But the pieces aren't as big as the ones in some bottled Spanish versions such as Ortiz... For 95% of the tuna I eat, I happily eat Century tuna. I think I wrote about the choice tuna version before, here... :)

Century has this nice, local substitute, MM. They call it “Premium Handline” chunks in olive oil. Individually caught daw. Masarap- in easy-open can pa! :-)
