And in case you want a bit of departure from this, Gourmet magazine from January 2006 on page 90 reprised a favorite from the year 69 (which in of itself is not a bad number) Men’s Favorite Salad, a really delicious coleslaw dressed with mayonaise and cottage cheese that you can make in a big batch and eat as is in unlimited quantity or use to flank thickly sliced smoked turkey breast or mixed with left-over fried chicken for a nice and different filling for pita. Men’s Health pointed out that cabbage along with guavas are two of the ten food items we should be eating a lot of but do not although personally I would hesitate on the guavas, really I would.

I lost a lot of weight eating adobong kangkong and papaya. And yes, with rice. Sometimes I would have tofu with oyster sauce. The diet wasn't as punishing and it worked. I also went on a crazy peanut butter sandwich diet. That's all I ate for 2 weeks. I lost 12 pounds on this diet.

i agree with you MM on soup. I love soups. The first sip always hits the spot. You could lose weight faster if you coupled your healthy eating with some cardio activity like badminton or just simply walking.
