Please tell me, where could i buy some asparagus? some medical practitioner says that asparagus could help prevent and cure cancer. my sister is terribly ill, and i want to test it done doing nothing. thanks.

we have 2 hectars of asparagus here at Estrada Capas Tarlac City we are now harvesting of asparagus as of now if you like too see it come in see our place thak you…

no, no, we have excellent handling facilities here in mindanao. the reason we get the woody asparagus in the market is because most of those that get to the market (especially the white ones) are “rejects” from the export market. so they’re either too old, too thin, too fat, too long, etc. same story why we have panga, ulo and buntot ng tuna (tuna jaws and tails) – they’re leftovers/scraps of the prime cuts that have been exported.

Diaz, not so strange sounding to me. The egg/oil mixture is a more solid version of mayonnaise. And you know how yummy mayo and asparagus is! That concoction is worth trying! Thanks for that!

A friend of mine just got back from Italy, he stayed
with a family that owns the Polis grappa distillery.
Anyway, one of the entrees for dinner was boiled white
asparagus, with hard boiled eggs that you mash with your
fork and drizzle olive oil, salt
& pepper to form a paste to eat the asparagus with.
Sounds strange but he said it was absolutely delicious.

Asparagus is not too cheap in Europe either. If you really follow the season, come May the first harvest.
I would never ever forget the best asparagus soup I ever had.
