Faust et al… unfortunately I don’t. Many folks have asked if they can give cash donations… unfortunately, I cannot accept direct donations… from a strict tax perspective. Cheques are made out directly to beneficiaries so that there is no tax liability nor questions about how the funds get to the beneficiaries… It’s a bit complicated, but one would have to set up a foundation first and get it approved by BIR to do that and it isn’t a large enough undertaking to do that. So for now, the rules stifle the extent of the charitable acts… But I do encourage readers to help in any way they can… checking with your local school districts if there are similar programs that you can donate to directly. With recent news confirming that 30-40% of kids 5 years old or younger being “stunted” or being malnourished, it’s a real concern for the next generation. When you get insufficient amount and quality of food at an early age, the damage is done, and apparently nearly irreparable later in life. :(

Been reading your blog for more than a year so as a way of saying thank you, we went to Mamou and ordered the dry aged bone in rib eye, the prime rib eye, lamb tapa and duck flakes…. Yum yum.
