I’m amazed with the level of detail especially how they were able to capture the coated canvass texture of the Damier Speedy. Speaking of bags, I’m sure the designer brands made a killing this valentines. I remember standing in front of the Gucci exit of Greenbelt 4 last Christmas season and was amused with the number of people walking out with LV, Prada, etc paper bags (sometimes 1 person carrying multiple bags). Makes you think how different the 1% of this country is from the rest of the population.

I recognized these cupcakes right away ! She’s really very good check out OC’s kitchen on Facebook . I get my son’s cakes from her every year. Very good quality , the attention to detail is simply amazing plus the cake is delicious .

Mart, lots of Cronuts in Manila and elsewhere… Artisan, a regular here, makes great ones in Cebu in all kinds of flavors and calls them Dossants… :)

When I visited family in the Philippines last October, I saw a sign at the Krispy Kreme at Edsa Shangrila was offering some “cronut-like” donuts. Unfortunately they were out of stock at the time.

Yes, MM…I totally agree that fondant covered cakes are gorgeous to look at but….! Now if that was covered with chocolate plastique, I will eat it, cupcake and all!

We also bought donuts for our staff today with custom toppers that say “You DONUT know how much we appreciate you :)” We found J.Co donuts with the best value for money, at approx P17 net when purchased by set of 2 dozens, discounted for senior citizens! Unfortunately, they didn’t have V-Day specific designs or flavors. But I believe the staff were delighted to see such a wide array of flavors to pick from!
