Having started by Market Man in the late part of 2007 and now approaching its full third year, I think it is fair to characterize this feeding program as a sustained (and well thought out) effort and not a once-in-a-while, flash-in-the-pan, ningas-kugon stab. This is where our Filipino knack for mimicry would work wonders. We want to see Market Manila gaya-gaya feeding programs in all the community schools they need â€˜em.

Great project! I hope the feeding program can be sustained. Once-in-a-while feedings won’t really make a difference in the health of malnourished children, but it is definitely a start! Hopefully more of us will be inspired to follow suit. :-) Thank you.
