I am happy that I was able to attend MM’s EB Event! Sumptuous meal, great crowd, and oh so fabulous desserts! Do I need to say more, just read the comments above! Looking forward to EB 3.
And by the way, I have a picture with your kid.. She’s a sweet lookin gal.. :)

thanks for a really wonderful night. My mom and I had so much fun. At first we were at lost in a room full of unfamiliar faces, but soon enough we were chatting with your other fans like we’ve known them for some time already. what a successful eb, excellent food, nice people and a very good host.

Definitely a success EB! Kudos to MM! Amazing host with Mrs MM and the Kid. We had a nice chat with Mrs MM and she was very nice and the Kid, I can’t stop looking at her! Ang ganda nya! If only Aidan is older than the Kid….ehem! =)
We brought the Triple Chocolate cheesecake, 3/4 of the cake was gone. If you were not sure that it was what you got, it was placed at the lower rightside of the table, beside the colorful cake of Marta Matute. Hope you enjoyed the cheesecake somehow.
We loved the budbod kabog including Aidan!
I wish I could have tasted all of the desserts served but there just so limited time! Being too shy to go to the table again and again, running around and looking for Aidan and chatting with some people. The worst was reading all the comments and discovering that I didn’t get to taste MIla’s chocolate mochis, Joey’s flourless chcoc cake, Poch’s great balls of goo, Alicia’s peanut chocolate chip cookie, Marta’s macadamia Rum Cake and more! Urgh!
Lastly, I loved the pumpkin agrodolce!
Thanks for all the love and time you’ve devoted to make this EB a successful one! Looking forward to the next EB!

Thanks Katrina, and to everyone for the kind words. I am glad you enjoyed the food. When Marketman went to Gourdo’s and told me about the possibility of holding the EB there, I was so excited I was already emailing him suggestions while he was still in the dining room having a lunch meeting! Heheh. About a week later I got the confirmation and it dawned on me that I’ll be feeding 80 serious, and possibly quite demanding foodies, all together in one group! Yikes! Is that a dream or a nightmare! haha =) But I’m glad everything went well. Sorry I didn’t get to mingle more, I was in and out of the kitchen to check on the food. It was nice seeing some of the folks from the first EB- Katrina, Felipe, Mila, Jun and Maret (who are good friends of my cousin in Florida), Tina (though I didn’t get to meet you in the first one). Great meeting new people too like Anton and family, and a LOT of other people! Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. MM and the Kid for holding the EB at Gourdo’s. I’m sure my staff enjoyed ensuring a great night for everyone as much as I did.

Oh, forgot to add: thanks for letting us take home the roses, MM! I put them in a vase on the dining table to surprise my mom when she came down for breakfast the next day. :-)
