HAHAHAHA! OMG, I was definitely in stitches with some of your comments. Perhaps it is simply the power of suggestion or mind control, but the Bond comments are too rich. And the washboard back? I had to remove my glasses and closely inspect an enlarged copy of the photo in question and I can assure you, the “bumps” are not muscular in the least, more like folds of fat on by back that should have indicated to you FAT DEPOSITS, FAT DEPOSITS… :) I kid you not, not only should you read blogs with a grain of salt, but take all photos of MM with half a grain of salt! :) Nina, I have posted several photos of BaÃ±ol Beach in Coron before… Alex, the place is in Coron/Busuanga/Culion, Palawan… I have done dozens of posts before on the area… please check the archives. dodi, I agree with you completely. However, with no big single beach and lots of spread out islands, I think the area has a slightly better chance of less atrocious development than Boracay… dierdregurl, if I used the villbrequins, some octopi might come and wrap their tentacles around my leg… :) Didn’t I guess I would make it back by the time there were 620 votes or so on the poll? I actually turned on my desktop when the poll numbers registered 626, pretty good huh? :)

bettyQ; Wish it were. Tell you the truth am still hoping to go there but to get there is a round about way, via Manila or by those low flying 6-8 seater planes (from Puerto Princesa where I am) which were suspended for a while due to a crash. T. People at the airport tell me they don’t even call out their flights when ready to leave at the airport. Perhaps with few passengers they know their departure time. Coron is way up north from Puerto Princesa which is halfway the length of the province.

I will send you pics whenever I get there, but there are still pristene beautiful beaches you can have all to yourself outside the city
