hi MM, i am overwhelmed by the outpouring of support to the victims, indeed, a little help goes a long way...i have also compiled and re-posted lists of other centers to reach more people to help, including your post, here at my site: https://mymomfriday.blogspot.com/2009/09/how-we-can-send-help-after-storm.html
With your reach, I am sharing this sad and appalling news from my husband's employee living in a village beside Provident Vill. Marikina, that, according to some residents there, donations coming in, like from Ateneo, are "blocked" (harang) by the barangay hall who are prioritizing their employees and their relatives with the goods, while residents are waiting desperately for the relief to reach them...I hope this is not true in all other areas.

MM, the organizers/volunteers/donors @ whitespace are heroes themselves. Been working there for four days (today is my fifth and last until operations resume) and they are organized, resourceful, untiring and positive. No one is ever "too tired". The quality and quantity of donations is staggering. What a wonderful, private effort that has sent out thousands and thousands of the most complete, best-packed relief packages.
Sorry... forgot to say great post - can't wait to read your next one!
