I’m an “avid fun” of eating this fruit. I can not help to stop myself from eating. I can eat 2kls in one time sit down eating this fruit.

I wonder what are the vitamins and minerals can we get from this very delicious and juicy fruit. Can anyone explain.

gud am,ive been to kinoguitan mis. oriental ive seen and tasted der lansones and taste very sweet and i observe that lansones from camiguin are more watery and meshy to eat.local folks say that der are more lansones in their province than the whole of camiguin province

Hey Marta…I asked a friend of mine who is a distributor of tropical fruits esp. mangoes…he said that during summer months like June- Sept, usually lanzones (from Bangkok) is available. I just bought 2 lbs. last week at $3.99 per pound in Vancouver Chinatown. I regret not buying all what the guy had….Upon returning home, i saw lanzones sold at other Asian produce stores at $6.99 per pound!….They were sooooo sweet!!!!

He goes into the depths of the fruit section I think and buys there from the guys just opening up crates of fruit. I suspect as soon as they see you or if you open your mouth, you get priced up to PHP50-60; it’s the same reason that I don’t go myself when I need fruit in bulk like 100 kilos of mangosteen for jam recently… :)

SUPER LAMI, SUPER SARAP, AND SUPER SWEET. ITS INCOMPARABLE, TRULY CAMIGUIN LANZONES IS SO DELICIOUS AND AMAZING SWEETNESS. TRY TO TASTE AND YOU WILL SAY I NEED TO EAT MORE. BUT SOMETIMES I AM SO DISAPPOINTED TO THOSE WHO HARVESTED EARLY OR WHICH IS NOT A PROPER TIME WHERE THE TASTE IS LIKE A LEMON. hmmmm…. walang lansonez d2 sa LA… miss that e… so i choose banana na lang :(…tagal na ako nde nakakatikim ng lansonez.. years and years back..waaaaaaaaa pity me hah! couple years ago, my big brother went home to pinas for a vac.that was a month of october, when he came back he has 7 lanzonez on his pocket,(nakalusot lang hahaha) and he gave one each of us hahahhaha kasi nde pede magdala dito ng fruits from pinas….

i was just in cdo a couple of weeks ago and had my fill of lanzones there. and yes, i definitely brought some home and yes also, i had to pay excess baggage fees because i couldn’t resist buying thirty kilos at what i considered a steal-P20 per. what a loser! then again, friends & relations that got them for pasalubong were very appreciative & impressed. so i guess, i didn’t do too badly. or so i keep telling myself.
