While leafing through the pages I was surprised to see pollo alla filippina with the english equivalent written as Philippines Chicken. Looking at the ingredients it’s none other than our adobong manok. Can you beat that? Our adobo made it to the english edition of Il cucchiaio d’ argento-the bible of authentic italian cooking (well, that’s what the book cover says). And MM, I am glad you and your family are ok after that spine tingling espisode .

A P2000 book on the other hand lasts forever. and all that info that you can go back to time and time again. yup, there’s no better value than a book. My favourite gift to give and receive.

When is the date of the annual book fair in WTC? Went to national bookstore yesterday and bought a coffee book titled “25 tropical houses in the philippines”. Was eyeing this book for a time but the price before was quite steep at P2000 and yesterday it was discounted to P1400. not bad huh? :)
