Jessy, the public school program continues to provide nearly 700 meals every single week of the school year and is fully funded until March 2011… We will probably have well breached the 100,000 meals mark by now. And no, I have not put out a call for donations since Typhoon Ondoy 16 months ago… :) I have, in fact, stopped actively soliciting for donations as I think this will be the last year of the feeding program that has run 4 years straight. I want to see if there is something else we can do in the years ahead… andrea, landmark or SM toy departments should have the waterguns.

This post reminded me of your school meals programs. There was no call for donations during the holidays; has the program been discontinued?

Reminds me of my younger years when my mom discouraged us from using toy guns of any sort… but kids are persistent and parents love their children so much that they find it difficult to deny them of these simple pleasures! so we usually had it our way! :)

Jessy, you have a pretty darned good memory. Actually, the kid with the bottomless stomach for ice cream is based in Cebu, and is doing well. The kids in these photos are based in Manila…

Let me tell you that as a high school dragon boat coach, that the addition of super soakers is a great addition to our training…until they train their streams at you.
