I am surprised not to see some of my favorites up there!
10. Arroz caldo - very indicative of the fusion of Chinese, Spanish and Malay cuisine
9. Empanadas - they might be originally Galician, but the PI have made them their own
8. Binagoongan - preferably made with bagnet and sili
7. Itlog maalat, kamatis at sibuyas - a complete source of protein and vegetable
6. Embutido - even more spectacular wrapped in caul fat instead of foil
5. Giniling - the Pinoy 30-minute meal
4. Sinangag - simplicity and flexibility at its finest
3. Lumpiang shanghai - I don't know a single Filipino or American who can resist
2. Corned beef - what Filipino pantry doesn't have at least a can or two
1. Rellenong manok - probably the acme of the Filipino culinary arts
