Our house was used some years back because of its rustic feel. Fine furniture, china, priceless vases were all moved into a makeshift bodega while a screen window was damaged as cablewires and the sort snaked through it. For roughly a day and a half, they paid us 15K Php. Our garden plants were damaged while we demurely agreed to do it again on another occasion. No contract no nothing. They were lucky I couldn’t find my old shotgun. And true to form, they were back some months later. Plastic handshakes kisses and all. Long story short, they backed off when I told them that the weeds they killed amounted to P5/weed, carabao grass was P420/sqm. Stairs were P20/stair/hour, doorknob was free of charge, etc etc. Total cost was intentionally prohibitive.

I was on-set during the shoot of Sarung Banggi. Interacting with Jacklyn Jose was SO worth it.
But then again, this was an indie film and this Zubu-shoot is definitely not indie.

You may get free passes. My nephews were extras in Moron 5 and they got movie passes =)

this will definitely be worth my while and tolerable enough when i have to “chaperon” my teenage nieces to watch the latest KathNiel movie, at least I get to see MM’s crib in Cebu ; )

I’m always amazed at the huge amount of people involved in making a film — even just a short one. Yesterday for example the actor Coco Martin etc were shooting all morning at the UP Palma Hall steps an advert for the young Angara running for senator, and the crew seemed dozens of people.

Now if you were in the Star Cinema film, MM, that one I would watch!

It must be really crazy! Altho, I do not know anyone now in the movie world…I probably would be reacting differently. Instead of trying to get a glimpse of the teen artistas, I would probably be looking out more for you MM!
