The Teen & Friends have raised USD14,000 or roughly PHP600,000 in 6 days. Isn’t that just simply amazing? That is 14x their original target of USD1,000! If you were planning to donate using your credit card please visit their site in the next 24 hours. The Teen has been updating her site, and will provide a full accounting of all the expenses charged against those donations. She is also coordinating our fifth dump truck full of relief goods to Northern Cebu on Wednesday, 20 November 2013. Many thanks to all marketmanila.com readers who opted to use the Teen’s site to course their assistance. Thank you very much.

leo, we can pull off a vegetarian meal if you speak with the waiters and manager… if you eat seafood, that’s even easier… but perhaps a kalabasa soup to start, no lechon flakes as toppings. We have seaweed salads, a tomato and eggplant salad, langka with coconut milk, kangkong, etc. Some all natural fruit shakes, and decent vegetarian desserts to boot. A main course item might be a bit difficult, but hopefully we can figure something out. Thanks. :)

I’m grateful to The Teen for doing this. It was the only practicable way I could find to make a donation, after finding my BPI account didn’t allow me to do a direct transfer to your bank. Congratulations and thanks to everyone involved in a wonderful exercise.
