Good grief… Whew!!! Who knew the response would be so rapid and so intense??? HEEHEE!!! You guys are too much!
Within hours of posting the trivia contest, my site was burning up with folks coursing through the archives trying to find the answers! At any rate, I have more than enough entries and by now all winners have been notified by email. So here are the answers for those that are curious.
1. What was the romantic date when I posted my FIRST rant on Marketmanila? Hint, it had something to do with toilets.

2. What was the full name of the infamous “fish pan lady” who called Marketman an elitist? Please include her middle initial.

I was very amused by many of the emails I received, from folks who took time out from work to figure out the answers… others who guessed… and my favorite, a reader who is more obsessive compulsive than me and sent her answers complete with live links to all the relevant posts where the answers emanated from…heehee.
Thanks everyone for participating. Yikes, now I just have to figure out everyone’s mailing addresses and send these off during a very busy week indeed! Also, I promise to destroy your mailing addresses as soon as I send the magazines off so that total confidentiality is maintained. 42 Winners hailed not only from across the U.S. (and singit 2 Canada ones as well), but from Brazil, Austria, Italy, Brunei, Taiwan, Japan, Ireland and Singapore. I also have winners from all over the Philippines from Davao, Leyte, Cebu, Bacolod, all over Metro Manila, etc.!!! Thanks to Yummy magazine for adding 20 more magazines to the prize pool. congrats to all winners, though i didnt join. I already have a copy of the Yummy magazine even before April 1. I saw one at Robinsons’ Pioneer grocery section and i got one right away before it will become a priceless collection.
For those who want a copy, i’m selling mine at P200(joke only). I’ll just bring my copy everytime I will visit the Salcedo Market and i might see MM there, and i will get his autograph. More power to you! MM.

peterb and kaye, WOW!!! I am pleasantly shocked by the Philippine postal system if you already got the magazines that I sent just yesterday afternoon. At PHP40 in mail cost, they were less than half the cost of LBC… and they only took a day! Of course, your addresses were very close to the source…
