4 & MAMOU too…

Mamou has been the single largest donor to Marketmanila’s feeding programs for undernourished school children during the past four years. Every year, on their anniversary, the restaurant has donated the ENTIRE proceeds (net of VAT) for a day to charity. Even more amazing, all their staff have likewise donated their entire service charge portion as well. Last year, on their third anniversary, they donated more than 4,000 meals worth which benefitted the Tenement School in Taguig. This year, they have graciously offered to do the same and this should be enough to provide approximately four months worth of meals. All you have to do is dine at Mamou for lunch or dinner (or both!) on Thursday, July 21, 2011. The more you eat, the more kids you feed! Marketman and some friends will definitely be dining at Mamou on Thursday so we hope to see you there! And if you can’t make it on Thursday, please book a table for another night, simply because the food is great, and it is truly one of my favorite restaurants in Manila.

But better yet, since tables are so darned hard to get at Mamou in Serendra, I am so PLEASED to announce the full opening of MAMOU too, the new baby at Rockwell Mall. Mamou too is on soft opening at the moment, but will be in full force soon… so visit them at Rockwell when you get a chance.

On behalf of the students who have benefitted from Mamou’s generosity (nearly 20,000 meals perhaps) throughout the years, I can only say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. There are lots of good folks out there, and the folks at Mamou are amazing. I hope readers will support this wonderful charitable effort. :)
