A “Jewel” of a Visayan Ballad…

We need a bit of happy news on this blog, it’s been kind of dark and heavy for the last few posts (despite the positive side of so many responding to calls for help for those ravged by Typhoon Yolanda). So if you need a lighter, more uplifting moment, click on this link for a youtube video of Jewel Villaflores and David Dmuzio singing “Duyog” — a love song written and performed by Jewel which has topped the local charts and is a modern Visayan hit. Jewel also happens to work with us at Zubuchon, as our marketing associate who joined us straight out of college a few months ago. Needless to say, other office staff have already had their pictures taken with Jewel, and asked for “autographs” — certain she will be famous some day soon. I can tell you firsthand that when she sings live in our office after some prompting from colleagues and her boss, she sounds absolutely amazing. :)
