Mrs. MM and I are fond of E. Murio furniture and other pieces — beautifully designed and crafted, locally manufactured, and reasonably priced when you get them on sale. They hold a few “private” sales throughout the year and we try to get to at least one of them. If you are on the lookout for something for your old or new home/ apartment, want a special gift for someone, or you just like to browse, you may want to visit them at the their upcoming sale.

When I went to the FAME show last year, one display made me stop and tell myself, “This is it. My house is going to be furnished this way.”
It was Murio. No Cobunpue’s for me.
And when an interior designer told me it’s the favored brand, not of Manila’s Top 100, but of Manila’s Top 5 families, I said, “Aah, kaya pala, pareho kaming taste ni (insert Filipino billionaire name here). As MM said, the prices are not unreasonable. I even think so at retail prices. (Disclaimer: Didn’t buy any. I live in the province. I live in a shophouse.)
“Private” means by invitation only? Who do we have to kiss to get one?
hiddendragon, “private” means I got an invite and extended it to all of you… I can’t make this sale, but I’m sure E. Murio would accommodate any readers who would like to go… they are particularly nice that way. :)
