Gejo…google Culinary Vegetable Institute….came across an article about it on the in flight magazine of Air Canada yesterday. I think you could set up something similar at your farm and it will rock!!! At the community garden here, we have something similar…providing group tours led by those who have the expertise among the community members, etc. what we lack is a kitchen whereby those in who have experience in the culinary industry can demo stuff what the public has harvested. It would be great if you have sort of farm stays where guests can learn sustainable farming and cook it themselves and eat…as they say, from earth to table. If you have in the future set up a Malipayon Gulay Paaralan, I will make it a point to book a farm stay!

BettyQ, that is what my ultimate vision to my ministry in Calauag, Quezon Province. An agricultural outreach, wherein it’s a “hustong pamamaraan sa kabukiran”. Will be hosting mga dayuhan, hands on into “organic farming” and eating what was harvested. The worker will be the farmers in the vicinity, who are also the students. Gejo, someday I would like to visit your farm.
Anyway, congrats sa mga nanalo. Kunin nyo agad ang premyo ninyo at baka mapasa-kamay pa ng iba, ay naku sayang.

Mmmmmm yes, the movie was terrific! Thank you MM for these wonderful treats you share with your readers. I just had the chicharon and it was perfectly crunchy and tender at the same time. Really really good.
